 Founded by Ralph Wilson, Sr. in Temple, Texas in 1956, Wilsonart started off as a hobby for the retired laminate industry executive. Wilson's intent wasn't to build a major corporation but to instead fill his free time. Wilson's "hobby" grew dramatically through the 1960's thanks to a dedicated work force, high quality products and an old fashioned commitment to customer service. Wilsonart may have grown well beyond its humble roots but its commitment to customer service has never changed. Today Wilsonart is pushing the innovation envelope when it comes to colours, textures and patterns of exceptional durability and aesthetic appeal.
