This is the style of cabinets usually purchased from the big box hardware stores. Standard cabinetry is usually cheaper then the different types of custom cabinetry, but the the lack of choice in size, shape and style of the cabinets can be a major deterrent.

Semi-Custom cabinetry is like standard cabinetry in that very little can be done to customize the sizing of the cabinet units. Semi-custom cabinetry is based on standard sizing to make mass production simpler. Although there is very little that can be done to customize the size of these cabinet units, there are usually many options available for hardware, accessories, finishes and countertops.
